After a successful rollout we have been able to help Surrey Police identify a variety of ways in which they could improve their water efficiency. Alerts have automatically detected consumption issues and provided focus areas for leakage and water reduction projects.
In total, the force was able to save in excess of £40,000 on their water bills, while also having a positive carbon impact enabling them to achieve their target.
An example from one of the sites below:
Woking Police Station
Total site consumption January 2020 = 3,243m3
Total site consumption October 2020 = 2,127 m3
Average savings per month 1,116 m3
Total savings per annum 13,392 m3 / £35,000+
A return on the total investment was achieved in less than six months and the Surrey Police Force has already exceeded it’s own environmental targets for reducing water consumption.
