Abellio Greater Anglia is part of a wider transport group, Abellio Transport Holdings, who also operate the Scot Rail franchise and Merseyrail concession, plus bus services in London and Surrey.

 

Great Anglia came to us as they needed a single solution to monitor all their stations on the Greater Anglia network operating from London throughout East Anglia.  The geographic area is covered by 6 water suppliers and sewage companies representing a significant challenge to obtaining a reliable and sustainable installation and service policy, as well as a consistent and reliable view of the data. In addition, each supplier had their own needs and often exacting requirements.

 

We were able to provide Greater Anglia with consistent and reliable data for all their stations and set up alarms and alerts to give them early warning of potential leakage or other consumption issues.  Through this unique monitoring platform we helped Greater Anglia meet their sustainably goals and manage their water costs more effectively. 

 

As well as this meter location often proved challenging and station facilities varied enormously – something our engineers we able to overcome thanks to the combination of our technology and their expertise!
